چکیده
The paper presents a novel fast calculation method for broadband Electromagnetic Scattering analysis. In this work, the isogeometric boundary element is used to solve Helmholtz equations electromagnetic scattering problems. non-uniform rational B-splines are employed construct structural geometries and discretize electric magnetic field integral [1,2]. To avoid timeconsuming multi-frequency calculations, series expansion decouple frequencydependent terms from integrand in [3,4]. second-order Arnoldi (SOAR) applied reduced-order model that retains essential structures key properties of original large-scale problems [5-7]. Several numerical examples presented demonstrate correctness effectiveness proposed algorithms.

Isogeometric Boundary Element Method with Hierarchical Matrices
In this work we address the complexity problem of the isogeometric Boundary Element Method by proposing a collocation scheme for practical problems in linear elasticity and the application of hierarchical matrices. For mixed boundary value problems, a block system of matrices – similar to Galerkin formulations – is constructed allowing an effective application of that matrix format. We introduc...
متن کاملA High Frequency Boundary Element Method for Scattering by Convex Polygons with Impedance Boundary Conditions
We consider scattering of a time harmonic incident plane wave by a convex polygon with piecewise constant impedance boundary conditions. Standard finite or boundary element methods require the number of degrees of freedom to grow at least linearly with respect to the frequency of the incident wave in order to maintain accuracy. Extending earlier work by Chandler-Wilde and Langdon for the sound ...
متن کاملGalerkin Boundary Element Methods for Electromagnetic Scattering
Methods based on boundary integral equations are widely used in the numerical simulation of electromagnetic scattering in the frequency domain. This article examines a particular class of these methods, namely the Galerkin boundary element approach, from a theoretical point of view. Emphasis is put on the fundamental differences between acoustic and electromagnetic scattering. The derivation of...
متن کاملBroadband electromagnetic scattering by particles.
The so-called sum rule for the extinction cross section has been the subject of several publications. However, it has not been obtained directly from the macroscopic Maxwell equations but rather follows from heuristic causality considerations. It is argued that these causality considerations are, in fact, questionable and do not follow from the fundamental concept of electromagnetic scattering ...
